Vancouver now has its very own L’Éclair de Génie boutique and I couldn’t be happier!! I first tried eclairs from L’Éclair de Génie on a family trip to Paris and fell in love. They are presented artistically and each and everyone of them were so beautiful that it was actually hard for us to choose just 4. That’s right. We had 4 in one sitting!!
There really isn’t anything like them in Vancouver and I didn’t think I’ll get try these eclairs again until I visited Paris again…but now I can!!
I was very fortunate to receive an invite to L’Éclair de Génie’s sneak peek media event. Chef Christophe Adam came all the way from France to introduce Vancouver bloggers and social influencers to the brand and let us sample the current rotation of 13 flavors.
L’Éclair de Génie boosts a resume of about 258 flavors and will rotate through them.
My favorite from Paris was the Pistache Framboises. I think it’ll continue to be my favorite here in Vancouver too.
The boutique is also a cafe serving a variety of coffee and tea drinks. In addition to eclairs they also have chocolate bonbons, small selection of bakery items, chocolates and caramel sauces.
The Vancouver boutique will be helmed by pastry chef Melanie Patricio.
