We knew we were going to have a lot of fish tacos on our trip to Maui, so obviously our dinner on our first night was just that! AngryRussian decided to take us to Horhitos Mobile Taqueria. They have pretty good reviews and is popular in Maui due to their lower prices. But I was suspicious since the pictures online were a couple years old.
Oh and it’s also not very mobile…even though it’s a food truck it’s always stationed at the same place and doesn’t seem to drive off anywhere.
And I was right. The regular tacos went from $2 to $4 each. We weren’t too hungry as we’ve already stuffed ourselves with poke, so we ended up getting a shrimp, a white fish, and an Al Pastor taco for $4 each.
The shrimp and white fish were both very moist, juicy, and seasoned well. The shredded cabbage added a nice crunch.
The Al Pastor was great also and the meat was moist too! Overall a great first evening snack!
