- Part 2: Seattle Food and Wine Experience 2019 – POP!
- Part 3: Seattle Food and Wine Experience 2019 – GRAND TASTING
In February of this year I had the pleasure of attending the Seattle Wine and Food Experience in Seattle. The SWFE is a series of themed events held over 4 days at various venues around Seattle and the focus in on two things: Wine and Food of course!
Your ticket gives you unlimited access to hundreds of local Seattle/Pacific Northwest wine and food vendors at each event. There’s 3 main events in total plus a Sunday Supper on the final day. The 3 main events are COMFORT- emphasis on comfort foods and beer; POP! – emphasis on bubblies and seafood; and the GRAND TASTING – an amalgamation of the previous 2 and more!
Use promo code “Eatnabout20” for 20% off tickets for all experiences!!
First up was COMFORT, which was all about the comfort foods.
This experience was held at the beautiful Sodo Park. The venue was perfect for the laid-back vibe of the COMFORT experience,
Souvenirs for the night were these adorable mini mason jar glass mugs!
Aromatic chicken and rice with chili crisp, cilantro, pickled cucumber and plum sauce from Poulet Galore.
“Mom’s After School Grilled Cheese” from Tulalip Resort Casino and Bloody Marys from Coastal Kitchen made with Bakon Vodka (it was a bit too salty though).
Slider of the Gods from Lunchbox Laboratory.
Bavarian Pretzels and Syrah Cocktail Meatball Sandwich from Herban Feast.
This is just a sample of what was offered at COMFORT. There was a lot more food and beer goodies to be had than I can show here. In all COMFORT was a great kickoff to the Seattle Wine and Food Experience! The event was executed well, AngryRussian and I enjoyed it very much! Stay tuned for coverage on the next two experiences!
The dates for SWFE 2020 are out! Go to their website for tickets and more information!
Disclaimer: I received complimentary entrance to this event but all opinions are 100% my own.
