Tri-ty 翠緹

Wow this post is long over-due.  I first came here with Fannypack during one of our BCIT dinners.  I was going to take her to try Taiwanese Beef Noodle at Dinesty but it was closed when we went, so we went across the street to try this place, to see if they have it. They […]

Celsius Cafe 匯

Update Feb 11, 2011 – This restaurant is now closed. Driving down No. 3 one day, Boyfriend and I noticed a new restaurant where Montreal’s Roast Chicken used to be (never had a chance to try that one by the way…).  It seems like a HK-Style Cafe and we all know how much I love […]

Blueberry U-Pick @ Birak Farm

I love blueberries.  They go well with many things, especially desserts and drinks.  They also one of the world’s heathiest food item.  They are a great source of vitamins, fibre, anitoxidants, low-calories, low-fat, and so on, so on…  A good friend of mine owns a blueberry farm (well, his parents does) and when prompted, he […]

West Lake Vietnamese Restaurant

Update Jan 3, 2013: This restaurant is now closed. Boyfriend and I enjoy going to West Lake because they’re open late, and they have Afternoon Tea/Late Night menus that includes a drink. They also make decent food and service is pretty ok, considering it’s a Asian-ran restaurant. Prices are among the best in Vietnamese food […]

Taco Luis @ Lansdowne Mall

I think Taco Luis at the food court at Lansdowne Mall is pretty famous, particularily to the students at Kwantlen College (it even has a fan page on Facebook).  It’s with good reason, it has big portions and small prices.  Boyfriend frequented the place during his days at Kwantlen. He must’ve frequent it very very […]

Shanghai River 滬江

When it comes to Shanghai food, it can range from quite economical to quite expensive. Shanghai River is supposed to fall onto the latter.  But it didn’t seem to deter people from going there.  There was a small group waiting for seats as we got in.  Because Wendy and I are the rare ‘couple’ to […]

Aberdeen Centre Food Court Quickie

Nothing like grabbing a quick snack at the food court when you are starving. Fast, cheap, goes down fast and hopefully not-so-fast out. Wendy and I decided to pay a trip to Aberdeen Centre’s food court. I believe this is probably the best Asian food court, not because of the food offerings, but because of […]

Chiffon Again

Update: This restaurant is now closed. The gang and I had an outing to do a photoshoot last weekend.  It was quite sunny that day so by the end of it we were exhausted, hungry, and hot.  M mentioned during the shoot that she would love to have a cup of bubble tea in her […]

7th Heaven Cafe 七重天

Update: This restaurant is now closed. As we’ve said before, the staff of Boston Steakhouse has migrated to Seventh Heaven in Aberdeen. Not sure what the reason for the move was though. Anyways, continuing with my HK-style Milk Tea craving as of late, Boyfriend took me to Seventh Heaven. It has quite a unique decor.  […]

Big Orange

I’m glad there’s a Big Orange Juice Bar in Richmond Centre.  It’s close enough that I don’t have to travel into Alexandra Road area to get it.  They’re no Bubble World, but they satisfy the craving once in a while.
